Everyone else sells you an agent.
This is the company.
Ten products, four groups, one axis: One human running a company of agents from one map, on a machine they own, with the human's reserved acts as the spine.
Every headline is quoted as found on the vendor's own site and every price is dated. Verified 2026-09-05. Prices change; the date is the promise. If we have something wrong, tell us and it gets fixed.
They say
“One human. A whole company.”
What it is
The company console for agents: a map of cells, pipelines of stages, and a Desk where the human decides.
Hosting
A native install on a Mac or Windows PC you own, running on a Claude Code seat, a provider key or a local engine; the Desk and Team apps on Android.
Price
Core is free. Pro is a signed key through Paddle checkout, with a 14-day trial at first run.
Company consoles
Products that sell the org chart: agents as staff, a person in charge.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paperclip “A team of agents for every person.” “Paperclip is the app people use to manage AI agents for work.” | A self-hosted control plane for a company of agents: an org chart, heartbeats, budgets that auto-pause at 100%, and an “immutable audit log”. Launched March 2026. | Self-hosted on Node 20+ and Postgres; a hosted cloud is on a waitlist. | Free, MIT licensed; hosted cloud on a waitlist. | Pipelines with stages and a Desk with the human's reserved acts as the spine; a scheduled runtime and an OS sandbox included rather than adapters you supply; a native Windows or macOS install rather than Node and Postgres. | 2026-09-05 |
Builders and frameworks
Hosted agent builders sold per user or per credit, and code-first frameworks with a hosted platform on top.
| They say | What it is | Hosting | Price | Where SoloINC differs | Verified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lindy “The AI teammate that will 3x your output.” | A hosted agent builder for assistants that answer email, book meetings and run small tasks, metered by credits. | Cloud only; its site lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and PIPEDA. | Plus $29.99 per month per user with 3,000 credits; Pro $99.99; Max $199.99. | A company, not a teammate. Your machine, your models, your data; no sales call. | 2026-09-05 |
| Relevance AI “Specialist agents for every task” “The home of the AI Workforce. Drive ROI in six weeks or less.” | A hosted platform for building teams of agents with human-in-the-loop approvals, sold to teams through a sales process. | Cloud; its site lists SOC 2 Type II and GDPR, with human-in-the-loop approvals. | Team about $234 per month; enterprise by quote. | No six-week rollout and no call: SoloINC installs on a machine you own and onboarding asks two questions. | 2026-09-05 |
| CrewAI “The Enterprise Agent Build & Runtime for the work your business runs on” “Used by 65% of the Fortune 500” | An open-source Python framework for crews of agents, with a paid platform (AMP) for hosting, monitoring and governance. | The framework runs anywhere; AMP is hosted. | Framework free; AMP by quote. | A framework first, with governance sold to platform teams later. SoloINC is the company above the agents: cells, pipelines, a Desk, a contract. | 2026-09-05 |
| LangGraph Platform “Code-first stateful graphs” | A hosted platform for deploying and observing agents written as LangGraph graphs, paired with LangSmith for tracing. | Open-core framework; the platform and LangSmith are hosted, with self-hosted options at the enterprise tier. | Plus from $39 per month with LangSmith; enterprise custom. | A graph, not a company. Observability is the upsell there; in SoloINC the traces, the audit log and the run records are in the free core, on your machine. | 2026-09-05 |
| n8n “Visual automation with AI agent nodes” | A visual workflow automation tool with hundreds of integrations and agent nodes; self-hostable. | Free to self-host; cloud hosted. | Free self-host; cloud from about EUR 20 per month. | The engine under a workflow, not the map of a company. SoloINC's stages have gates, memos and owners, and every decision reaches one Desk. | 2026-09-05 |
Enterprise registries
Governance for estates of thousands of agents, sold to platform teams.
| They say | What it is | Hosting | Price | Where SoloINC differs | Verified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Agent 365 “The Control Plane for Agents” | A control plane for discovering, governing and securing AI agents across Microsoft 365 estates. Generally available May 1, 2026. | Microsoft cloud. | Enterprise license; not public. | Built for an IT estate of thousands of agents. SoloINC gives one human the same registry, risk tiers, attestations and evidence for a company on one machine. | 2026-09-05 |
| ServiceNow AI Control Tower “Enterprise agent governance” | Governance, observability and lifecycle management for AI agents across an enterprise, announced at Knowledge 2026; integrates with Microsoft Agent 365. | ServiceNow cloud. | Enterprise license; not public. | Governance for a platform team, through a sales process. Nobody sells this to one person; SoloINC does, at solo scale, on a machine they own. | 2026-09-05 |
Software factories
Orchestrators for many coding agents. They build software and stop there.
| They say | What it is | Hosting | Price | Where SoloINC differs | Verified |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gas Town “Multi-agent orchestration system for Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and other AI agents with persistent work tracking” | An open-source orchestrator that runs 20 to 30 Claude Code instances under a “Mayor”, with persistent work tracking. | Local; your own machine. | Free, open source. | Software only. It builds code; SoloINC runs the business the code belongs to. The Mayor's job is the Managing Agent's, with a Desk and a contract underneath. | 2026-09-05 |
| Superset “Bring Any Agent. Orchestrate Them All.” | A desktop app with live terminals, each coding agent in its own git worktree, side by side. | Local; a desktop app. | Free, open source. | A workbench for one repository. SoloINC has a Desk, pipelines and a contract; a coding agent is one workload on one stage of one pipeline. | 2026-09-05 |
Losing gracefully
The right tool, in one sentence.
A buyer sent to the right product remembers who sent them. If this is you, go there.
- Helpdesk and email assistants: Lindy.
- One automation, no company: n8n.
- Agent graphs in code: LangGraph Platform, CrewAI.
- An org chart of agents with no pipelines: Paperclip.
- An estate-wide registry across Microsoft 365: Microsoft Agent 365.
- A coding factory for one repository: Gas Town, Superset.
The gap
The company consoles are hosted and per seat, or self-hosted with no pipelines and no Desk. The builders are libraries and graphs with a hosted observability upsell. The registries answer the governance surveys for estates of thousands of agents at enterprise prices, through a sales call. The factories build software and stop there.
Nobody sells one person the whole company on their own machine, with the human's reserved acts as the product's spine.
